The makers of 83’ film are out with a stunning teaser, honouring Team India’s World Cup Win on social media.
The official handle of Reliance Entertainment dropped a video, which talks about Team India’s win at the World Cup in 1983, and they also named all the players of the team. The caption read, “Magic was created. Kapil Dev led India cricket team changed the history some 37 years ago, putting India on the world map as a heavy duty contender, who is now leading the game.
Kabir Khan's upcoming film '83 featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead role is one of the most anticipated films and also one of many films that has suffered due to the global lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The film will features actor Ranveer Singh in the role of former Indian skipper Kapil Dev and the story is based on India's real-life victory at the 1983 cricket World Cup. Ranveer's wife Deepika Padukone not only stars in the film as his onscreen wife, but she has also co-produced the movie along with Kabir Khan, Madhu Mantena, Vishnu Induri.
The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar, Amrita Puri and more.
