Unconstitutional Constitutional stalemate was created in Andhra Pradesh as the Upper House of the Legislature adjourned sine die without passing the Appropriation Bill.
The government cannot draw even a single rupee from July 1 in absence of the approval of the Legislature for the Appropriation Bill. The Bill was passed in the Assembly and was sent to Council for approval.
However, the ruling YSR Congress and the opposition Telugu Desam adopted strategic moves, resulting in the stalemate. There was also scenes of members turning physical.
