NSUI Demands Central Board Of Secondary Education CBSE Not To Conduct The Persisting Exams Of Class 10 And 12 Students

The HRD should instead focus to build up the confidence of the parents and students to bring the children to resume teaching activities whenever possible in future rather than being stuck with the remaining exams: Ayush Sharma National Vice chairman social media NSUI

Although we agree with the fact that conducting the board examinations particularly for the 12 class students was marked at a high stake but in such a situation now, conducting the examinations will be a mere onerous task due to :
1. Increase in the number of cases of people getting COVID positive standing up to 44,468 as on 16 June 2020 which is likely to rise by 5.5 lakh by 31st July 2020.
2. Also due to contamination of zones if any school comes under such zone it would be very difficult for everyone and also 251 Government school buildings are used as dry ration distribution centers.
3. Apart from all this, the government is planning to use 242 School's auditorium to set an additional 80,000beds for COVID'19.

So CBSE shouldn't come up to any termination of conducting the persisting exams in July as if would be very onerous for the students as well as their lives. So we demand not to conduct examinations until the situation comes back to hold and truly understand the gravity of such circumstances.
