"8ish" novel written by English actor and director Luing Andrews will be available on Amazon later this month. This is very much an adult crime drama but has some very clever light-hearted moments. Luing who shares screen space with Hollywood superstar Tom Hardy in the film 'Bronson'. He is also known for his performance in several English films like The Heavy (2010), The Oxford Murders (2010), The Heat (2013), Red 2 (2013), 8ish (2019), etc.
Synopsis:
This is a fictional story with an essence of truth.
A story about Sean O'Shea and his family connections to the IRA and gangland London set in the present day. His family-run a nightclub which Sean takes over the running of to lessen the load on his aging, Uncle Bill. As well as the gangland fighting, rivalry and deception, this story also tells of Sean's more personal life which includes divorce, death, dreadful family secrets, the truth about his family, and falling in love again. Eventually, Sean decides he wants to lead a normal life with his newfound love but some things are set in stone and cannot be reversed and this time he cannot get out or so we think. This story shows Sean is not a person to be messed with and certain family members realize this the hard way.
In the same background, he directed a short film titled "Too L8ish". He is also planning to make it a feature film after the sale of this novel. He is all set to make his debut in the Indian cinema with Nirmal Baby Varghese's "Thariode: The Lost City".
