Actor Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Production recently released series ‘Paatal Lok’ was highly appreciated by the audience. The ‘P.K’ actor is again back to catch the eyeballs of the viewers. Anushka feeling excited about her upcoming Netflix series ‘Bulbbul’ took to her Instagram handle and shared the first motion look of it. The red-looking motion looks quite enthralling and captivating. The series seems to be wrapped up in mystery and secrecy, as it does not specify much. Anushka adding to it revealed to share more about it later.

Talking about the story, it is about a man named Satya who returns to his village after many years and sees his brother's child-wife Bulbul abandoned and serving the village. It is said that Bulbul has a supernatural element.
Netflix has set a June 24 release date for its next original film from India — Bulbbul, originally titled ‘Bulbul’. It is produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma's Clean Slate Films.
‘Bulbbul’ is a supernatural period horror about a woman in Bengal who was married off as a child and harbors a dark past of murders in her village, connected to the legend of a chudail (witch). Anvita Dutt, a lyricist and dialogue writer is making her debut as a director.
It stars Tripti Dimri and Avinash Tiwary (Laila Majnu), and Rahul Bose (Poorna) in the lead, with supporting roles for Parambrata Chattopadhyay (Kahaani), and Paoli Dam (Hate Story).
