Noida, June 7 (SocialNews.XYZ) Forty-one new Covid-19 cases were reported in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district of UP on Sunday. There are 211 active Covid-19 cases in the district.
Till date 413 patients have been cured and 8 succumbed to coronavirus.
At 9,971 case, the country's single-day increase in Covid-19 cases on Sunday inched towards 10,000, according to the Health Ministry.
As many as 287 people died in the last 24 hours due to the disease. The total number of confirmed cases are 2,46,628. With this, India surpassed Spain to become the fifth worst pandemic-hit country.
Of the total cases, as many as 1,20,406 are active, 1,19,293 people have been cured and 6,929 died.
