When Nawab Shah Proposed To Pooja Batra

Amid lockdown actress Pooja Batra is with her husband Nawab Shah and family. The ‘Virasat’ actress took to her Instagram to celebrate her 1st marriage proposal anniversary.

She posted some throwback pictures of her husband and her mother-in-law. In the picture, it can be seen Nawab bending down on his left knees, holding the hand of Pooja and proposing her for marriage. The actress in her post also mentioned that she is missing her mother-in-law and needs her blessings always.

Recalling how he proposed her, Pooja wrote, “Last year today was the day when my hubby @nawwabshah proposed to me in the presence of his Mom and his Family. May your blessings and love always be with us Moore We Miss you”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Pooja was last seen in the psychological thriller 'Mirror Game'. It was a film about the burdens of professional frustration and marital strife drive a professor to ask the impossible for one of his students.

Pooja Batra was a model turned actress in the '90s and was part of films like 'Virasat', 'Bhai', and 'Haseena Maan Jaayegi', among others.

She was earlier married to orthopaedic surgeon Sonu S Ahluwalia in the year 2003 in Los Angeles, California, but the couple divorced in 2011.
