Tollywood bigwigs, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, Trivikram, Koratala Siva, and a few other met with Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav recently and requested him to grant permission for film shootings.
Incidentally, Nandamuri Balakrishna made some serious comments in the regard.
"No one invited me to this meeting. I came to know about it after reading the newspaper and watching TV. What were they discussing in this meeting? About how to distribute lands?," Balakrishna said.
In response, Nagababu said, "Balakrishna should keep in mind that he is not the king of Tollywood and he is just a hero. He is insulting Telugu film industry as a whole and the Telangana government as well. He should apologise immediately for his personal remarks," Nagababu said.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav said he will comment on the issue after getting to know about the context of Balakrishna's comments and added he would get more clarity after Tollywood responded to Balakrishna's comments.
