Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' will commence shoot as soon as the government of Telangana permits film shootings in the state. There won't be any major delays in a shoot once the film hits the floors.
Incidentally, the makers of Acharya are planning to release the film during 2021 Sankranthi season. Previously, they had planned to release the film at the end of the year, but that doesn't look possible as over 50% of the film is yet to be shot.
Releasing the film during Sankranthi season, when the common public will be ready to flock the theaters seems to be the best possible option for Acharya, especially after thr post-lockdown circumstances.
