Bhubaneswar, May 25 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Odisha government has ordered resumption of the Capital Region Urban Transport's (CRUT) Mo Bus services in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack from Tuesday, an official said, here on Monday.
"Initially non-AC buses will ply on 7 routes of the capital region from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We will keep adding number of buses and routes," said Dipti Mahapatro, CRUT General Manager. No standing passenger would be allowed in the buses, Mahapatro added.
On Sunday, the government allowed resumption of intra-state bus services, other passenger vehicles and city buses with full sitting capacity.
Mask would be compulsory for all passengers. "No mask, no entry. We appeal all to take precautions while commuting in Mo Bus. They are requested to carry sanitizers as well," she said.
Passengers have been requested to tender exact change to purchase ticket to minimise cash transaction.
Cleaning and disinfection of Mo Buses are being done on daily basis as per the standard procedure in the interest of passengers and staff deployed in the buses.
