Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar just took to his social media profile and dropped a quirky and interesting teaser of forthcoming social drama, Gulabo Sitabo, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana.

The title of the film, Gulabo Sitabo, has been borrowed from the famous puppet duo of Gulao-Sitabo of Uttar Pradesh.
The teaser is a graphic representation showing two goats and the name of the film. A voice in the background can be heard saying, "Pehle sabko namaste kariye, salaam kariye, satsariyakaal kariye. Aur ye hai Gulabo, aur ye bhai Sitabo hai. Yeh rahne vali hai Hazratganj wali, aur ye Ameenabaad wali gadbadjhale Chandani Chowk ki tehelne wali. Yeh badi hoshiyar aur badi chalaak hai."
Gulabo and Sitabo are the puppets of two warring sisters-in-law, who fight but also can't live without each other. Using the puppets of Gulabo and Sitabo, the puppeteers would create awareness about social evils.
The slice-of-life dramedy is the story of Mirza (Amitabh Bachchan) and Baankey (Ayushmann Khurrana ) who like Tom and Jerry are unique and unmatched, friend and foe, naughty and smart, little and large all things needed to create chaos.
Gulabo Sitabo will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
