​Alia Bhatt Supports Sonakshi Sinha’s Bid For Good Initiative

After actress Sonakshi Sinha announced her 'Bid for Good' initiative to help daily wage workers, who have been badly affected by the ongoing lockdown, her friend, Alia Bhatt went online to show her support for the cause.

 

Sonakshi Sinha has joined hands with Anshula Kapoor's fundraising platform Fankind and is coming up with unique idea to raise funds for people in distress owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The actress has teamed up with Fankind to auction her artwork. All the funds raised will be used to provide ration kits to daily wage workers.

Kalank co-star Alia Bhatt took to her social media profile and praised the the initiative taken by Sinha. She tweeted, “So proud of you @sonakshisinha! Guys, support the cause, bid for good!"

Earlier in the day, the 'Dabangg' actor shared a video on Twitter and explained about her new initiative -'Bid for Good'. The actress has auctioned her artwork including - digital prints, sketches, and large canvas paintings in an effort to help the daily wage earners amid the lockdown.

She also encouraged her fans to follow the 'Bid For Good' to help the daily wage earners.

Meanwhile on the work front, Sonakshi Sinha will next be seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India, helmed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. The film also features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Pawan Shankar and Pranitha Subhash. The film will be released on 14 August 2020 to coincide with Indian Independence Day weekend.

Alia Bhatt will be seen sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in forthcoming Brahmastra.
