Gas fumes are leaking again from the tanker where there was Styrene leakage today. The people were asked to Evacuate their places as they were experiencing a strong smell once again from LG Polymers Gas Leak. Sources say that people are in a panic mode and are being evacuated by the police as soon as possible.
Around 50 fire staffers, with NDRF's support, are carrying out the operation says Visakhapatnam District Fire Office.
Visakhapatnam District Fire Officer Sandeep Anand says, "We've ordered the evacuation of villages in 2-3 km radius for safe side precautions, 10 more fire tenders, including 2 foam tenders, are present at the spot. Ambulances are ready for any emergency."
