2020 is certainly proving to be the most gruesome year. While the country is still fighting with the deadly pandemic, India woke up to the sad news of a toxic gas leak from LG POLYMERS facility located near Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Atleast 8 people including a child have died and many more have been admitted to the hospital. Fire Engines, police, ambulance and every other possible help is reaching the chemical plant to control the situation. The National Disaster Response force has also been called in.
The news has shaken the whole country and many Bollywood stars have expressed their grief over this deadly situation and are praying for the well being of the people there.
Arjun Kapoor tweeted "The tragic news of Vishakhapatnam gas leak is extremely shocking. My prayers are with everyone of the city.condolences to the family of the victim.#PrayforVizag
Nimrat Kaur tweeted, "So disturbing to learn of the #VizagGasLeak. So wish times didn't get tougher. Prayers and thoughts with all affected and all grappling with controlling the situation."
Actor Ali Fazal tweeted, "Prayers with everyone affected by the #vizaggasleak. Have just woken up to this hoorendous news."
Tisca Chopra shared, "Oh my God. When is #2020 going to end? Horror upon horror. Condolences and prayers for the families who lost dear ones"
Actress Rakul Preet Singh has also shared her sadness and wrote, "So sad to know about the #VizagGasLead! My heart goes to all the people affected by this. I hope measures are taken really soon to get things under control. Stay safe my vizag People. "
