Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav stated that film shootings can be resumed from June if the number of Coronavirus positive cases in the state go down drastically.
Srinivas Yadav further added that the state government had already held multiple meetings with Tollywood producers and the decision will be taken with safety of public and film personnel in mind.
As of now, the Coronavirus graph in Telangana is on a decline and that will have to continue for at least another month or so if the shootings are to be resumed.
However, theaters will remain shut at least for another 2-3 months. Even if they are opened in the coming days, it is highly unlikely that the common public will flood the theaters untill the situation is completely under control.
