The leading actors, musicians, singers, sportsperson and industrialists from India came together on sunday 3rd May, 2020 to support Covid Relief Work by being a part of "I for India" fundaraiser concert, the biggest fund raiser concert in India. The concert was live streamed on facebook and had over 85+ Indian and Global Stars.
The four hour long concert was closed by King Khan where he sang a special song 'Sab Sahi ho Jayega'. His little one AbRam also made an appearnace during his performance.
SRK posted a video of his performance with a heartfelt thankyou note on his twitter account. He wrote, “Extremely grateful to #IforIndia @Its_Badshah & @cacklerraj for music, lyrics & for working overnight. Thanks Sunil for the edit. All so that i could sing. Ab bhai, lockdown mein mujhe gaate hue bhi jhelna padega. AbRam is saying ' papa enough now!' Par Sab Sahi Ho Jaayega!"
The concert not only featured Indian celebrities but also had many international stars contributing their bit to raise the funds for Covid Relief. It featured Will Smith, Bryan Adams, Nick Jonas, Mick Jagger, Mindy Kaling and Lilli Singh.
The event was organised by Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar managed by GIVEINDIA Foundation.
The funds collected from the concert will be donated to more than 100 groups providing food and other essential services to the needy during the crisis.
