Mumbai, April 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) The NSE group has contributed a total of Rs 26 crore towards PM-CARES Fund and certain state governments' funds for combating the coronaivirus pandemic.
In addition to this, employees of the NSE Group are also separately contributing one day's salary towards the PM-CARES Fund for this purpose, said a National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSE) statement.
"NSE is committed to supporting the government in the nation's battle against the pandemic and in providing assistance to alleviate the difficulties faced by the eco system due to COVID-19," it said.
It noted that the outbreak is an unprecedented global situation that all countries are dealing with in terms of its human and economic consequences.
