Surender Reddy did a pretty good job with Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. He took his own sweet time before picking the male lead for his next project.
Now that Surender Reddy has opted to work with Akhil Akkineni, he is said to have started working on the script.
Apparently, the ace filmmaker is preparing an entertaining script for Akhil. It will be on the lines of his previous films, Race Gurram, and Kick. It will be an out and out commerical potboiler, say reports.
Akhil is badly in need of a solid commerical hit and his immediate next film is Most Eligible Bachelor. He will work with Surender Reddy after wrapping the Bommarillu Bhaskar directional.
