Mumbai, April 4 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Mahanagar Gas (MGL) has decided to cut prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and domestic piped natural gas (PNG) in the Mumbai region from April 4/5 midnight, according to an official here on Saturday.
The price of CNG will be reduced Rs 2 per kg and PNG Rs 1 a kg as the government has lowered the domestically produced natural gas rates.
The new delivered, all-inclusive, prices of CNG will be Rs 47.95 a kg and Rs 29.60 a kg in slab 1 and Rs 35.20 a kg in slab 2 for PNG.
With the new prices, MGL's CNG offers around 55 per cent and 28 per cent savings compared with petrol and diesel, respectively.
