Digital news sources and television are rapidly covering a large ground with updates, debates and interviews and opinions. The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India and Nielsen (Nielsen runs a 12,000 strong smartphone panel) have recently put together a report on the changes in consumption behaviour of TV and smartphones, respectively. According to the report, TV and digital, and especially news on both the mediums, are the only best options at this point of time as they are able to shoot and supply fresh content.
