Actor Arjun Kapoor shared an adorable throwback picture on his social media profile and remembered her mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor on her 8th death Anniversary and wrote a heartfelt note as well.
In the picture, Arjun and sister Anshula can be seen laughing with each other as their mother Mona Shourie Kapoor joins in. Mona can be seen sitting on a chair with a book in her hand as she smiles with all her heart.
Arjun wrote a heartfelt caption which read, “I wish I could be at home like this today would have felt safe & maybe even smiled more than anyone has ever seen me smile. It’s been 8 years today since you left us Mom”
“The world has changed Maa right now in this moment I wish I had you at home would have spent so much time with u that I couldn’t when I was trying to lose weight do my acting classes and when I was away shooting ishaqzaade during ur chemotherapy...would have tried to make up for the nonstop sprinting that I would have been upto and maybe taken u for granted”
“I love u Maa I miss u Maa... I miss having ur name show up on my phone to check up on me...I just hope wherever you are you are happy and watching over ur 2 brats” added Arjun Kapoor.
Meanwhile on the work front, Arjun Kapoor is awaiting the release of his forthcoming thriller “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar” which also stars Parineeti Chopra and helmed by Dibakar Banerjee.
The film follows the story of a man and woman who represent two completely different people, Pinkesh Dahiya "Pinky" is a Haryanavi Police Officer while Sandeep Kaur is someone from the Corporate world. However, they are united by their mistrust, suspicion, and hate for each other.
Initially scheduled for release on 20 March 2020, the film was indefinitely postponed due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.
