Rohit Shetty uses his celebrity statues and urges everyone to support the daily wagers during 21 days lock down by donating a certain amount to “I Stand With Humanity” initiative started by Art Of Living and The Indian Film and Television Industry.
Indian Government has called for 21 days lock down to combat Covid-19 pandemic, which has shut down all the trading sectors, productions and entertainment sectors as well, which will adversely affect daily wagers, who will out of work and food as well.
Art Of Living and The Indian Film and Television Industry have come up with an initiative to help daily wagers, where with a certain amount of donation from public, they will provide food and ration.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty just took to his social media and shared a post. He captioned it, “Now that many celebrities have shown their cooking skills, it’s time to realise there are many houses out there without any food being cooked. It’s time to help the people in need! Meanwhile on the work front, Rohit Shetty’s next outing Sooryavanshi, the fourth instalment of the cop universe and featuring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Vivan Bhatena, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise's previous films.
Initially scheduled for release on 24 March 2020, the film was indefinitely postponed due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.
