World is struggling with Covid-19 crisis, which seems to be only aggravating and authorities have been repeatedly emphasizing on the importance of social distancing.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to show gratitude and respect to essential service providers recently turned into a mockery-fest by many people, including politicians, who took to street and had a celebratory party with fire-crackers and dance.
This contradicts the whole idea of social distancing as well the purpose of a Janta Curfew. Like many, actor Anup Soni is also irked. He shared a video of a group of women dancing with utensils, and put up a sarcastic note.
He captioned it, “A group of patriotic and responsible citizens of our country demonstrating the best example of social distancing"
Tweeting on the same video, Sonu Sood expressed his displeasure and wrote, “Good Thing Happend...Corona left India...they have a reason to celebrate. After seeing this even the virus will think “what if I get affected by their intelligence levels?” Better to leave this country. I mean... do these people have their brains in place".
Earlier celebrities like Soni Razdan, Milap Zaveri, Akshay Kumar and many more also slammed the general public who broke the Janta curfew and social distancing protocol and took to streets to celebrate.
