India witnessed Janta Curfew on 22 March 2020 to fight against Corona Virus. Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the people of India to stay at home the whole day and at 5 pm come to the windows, balconies and gates of their respective houses and clap for all those people who are working to save our lives amidst this crisis, people who are diligently working so that the whole nation can fight this menace.
During the curfew, the whole of India was at home but at 5 pm something historic happened. All the citizens came out of their windows, balconies and paid their gratitude by clapping for continuous five minutes. The citizens of India proved that we all are together and we will fight this together.
Countries across the world are facing difficult times because of the deadly corona virus. India is also witnessing a rise in Corona affected cases each day and therefore the government is taking strict measures to save people from getting affected.
Bollywood stars are leaving no stone unturned to awaken the people against virus and are asking their fans to stay at home and stay safe. Janta Curfew was promoted by these stars and most of them also came at their windows and clapped with the people of the country.
Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan , AIshwarya Rai Bachchan with their family, Ranvir Singh Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Karishma Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurana, Anil Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Arjun Kapoor, Jhanvi Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Rampal, Parineeti Chopra, Vicky Kaushal, Sonu Nigam, Randeep Hooda, Kriti Sanon, Nusrat Bharucha, Aahna Kumra and many others became a part of this historic moment.
Post the curfew, a total number of 75 districts have been locked down till 31st March 2020. All these measures are being taken for the betterment of the people and people have also shown that they all are together with the government in fighting this pandemic.
