Actor Taapsee Pannu's latest film "Thappad" has managed to grab all eyeballs with the sensitive subject of the film. The film is till marching forward in its box office collection with 12 days collection summing up to 30.53 crores.
The talented actress tweeted the good news with a poster of the film and shared, "Marching on...still...#Thappad"
Film Thappad captures the journey of a woman who files for divorce when her husband slaps her in a party.
Though Tiger Shroff and Shradha Kapoor starrer "Baaghi 3" was also released on 6th March 2020, Anubhav Sinha's directorial is still roaring high with its collection and has managed to cross 30 crore mark. Holi holidays gave this boost to its collection.
The film attracted various controversies since the trailer of the film was released. The trailer was considered as a tight slap to the film 'Kabir Singh' and even Taapsee commented she could not watch Kabir Singh.
Tapsee who started her career with south films has now become one of the most bankable actresses of Bollywood!
Post Thappad, she will be seen in the film ' Haseen Dillruba' which is mystery thriller directed by Vinil Mathew. The film is bankrolled by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma under the banner Colour Yellow Productions. The film also stars Vikrant Massey, Hansika Motwani and Harshvardhan Rane. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 18 September 2020.
