Actress Taapsee Pannu is leaving no-stones unturned to promote her forthcoming social drama Thappad, says that the movie is more than just a slap or domestic violence, it address the unfair things happening in a relationship.
Bollywood and Tollywood actress Taapsee Pannu who prefers to express her opinion on social issues through the medium of cinema, has come out with her new film, ‘Thappad’.
Recently Talking about her movie 'Thappad' Taapsee said, "Thappad is not just about a slap or domestic violence. It's all about the unfair things happening in relationship, which ultimately results into divorce. My movie emphasis on the same issues because in our society, even in harsh situation we are taught to move on"
Taapsee is also leaving no stones to promote her film on various platforms. She daily shares her BTS photos from the sets to keep the excitement level high among the audience. Recently, she took to her Instagram handle to share a new still from the sets and wrote a stunning note for Anubhav Sinha.

Anubhav Sinha directorial Thappad is brave tale of a woman taking a stand against domestic violence. The film stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role, along with an ensemble of Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Manav Kaul, Dia Mirza, Tanvi Azmi and Ram Kapoor.
Thappad is co-produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar, it is scheduled to hit the screens on February 28.
