New Delhi, Feb 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) A horrifying video is doing the rounds on social media which shows an elderly Asian man being racially abused and mocked by a crowd in San Francisco, leaving him in tears.
The video was shared by a Twitter user with the caption, "Please share this with your friends & family. This is so low, the older man was just trying to make ends meet for his family. He didn't deserve this. this is ignorant, inhumane, & sickening. I'm praying for this man and his family. If you have any information, please reach out."
In the shared video, an onlooker could be seen walking towards the man, wielding a pole and using it to hit him on the head, while others laugh and jeer as the victim runs away.
The man could then be seen being attacked and mocked by shouting onlookers on suspicion of being a thief. As the video further progresses, one of the onlookers could be heard screaming, "I hate Asians".
Once this video went viral, social media was abuzz with reactions. A user wrote, "So sad poor man. People have no compassion these days."
Another wrote, "Sad people in this world. I'm afraid the only thing they understand is an ass whooping!!"
"Why do you describe the victim but not the assailant," asked one user. Another user said, "And coming from black people. Disgusting."
