Lucknow, Feb 25 (SocialNews.XYZ) A high voltage drama was witnessed over the weekend after a BJP leader was caught with a female friend by his wife.
The BJP leader, Shrikant Tyagi, is a national executive member of the Kisan Morcha. He lives in Noida but has rented a flat at Greenwoods Apartment in Gomti Nagar extension, where he reportedly stays with a female friend Mandvi Singh.
Trouble began when Tyagi's wife Anu Tyagi got wind of his affair and tracked him down to the flat where he was present with Mandvi Singh, said to be a social activist.
The two women had a face off and the matter reached the Gomti Nagar police station where both the sides registered cross FIRs against each other.
Mandvi Singh is reported to have threatened the policemen with dire consequences and boasted about her "high connections".
The police have registered an FIR against Mandvi Singh in sections 352, 323, 504, 506 and 427 of IPC. A similar FIR has been registered against Anu Tyagi too.
While Shrikant Tyagi refused to comment on the matter, videos of the women fighting and the scene they created at the police station have gone viral on the social media.
The Tyagis have two sons aged seven and nine. The sons told the police that their mother had received injuries on her hand in the scuffle.
Police officials refused to comment on the case but said that investigations were underway.
