Amarjeet Sinha, Bhaskar Kulbe appointed advisors to PM
New Delhi, Feb 21 (SocialNews.XYZ) Retired IAS officers Amarjeet Sinha and Bhaskar Kulbe were on Friday appointed advisors to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a Ministry of Personnel order said.

Both the 1983 batch IAS officers have been appointed as advisors to the Prime Minister, initially for a period of two years, on a contract basis.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the appointments in the "Prime Minister's Office in the rank and scale of Secretary to the Government of India, on a contract basis, as per other usual terms and conditions, as are applicable in the case of re-employed officers of Secretary level in Government of India, initially for a period of two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier".

Sinha, a Bihar cadre IAS officer, was in the Department of Rural Development as its Secretary before his retirement. However, Kulbe, a West Bengal cadre officer, in July last year had quit his post as Secretary to Prime Minister after completion of his extended six month tenure.
