New Delhi, Feb 20 (SocialNews.XYZ) A video of a patient at King's College Hospital in London who can be seen playing the violin while surgeons operated on her brain to remove a tumour is doing rounds on the social media.
The heart-warming video was shared by King's College NHS (@KingsCollegeNHS) with the caption: "Our patient played the violin while surgeons removed a #tumour from her brain."
Professional musician Dagmar Turner was diagnosed with a large brain tumour in 2013.
In a video from the surgery, one can see that the violinist moves her bow up and down as surgeons behind a plastic sheet work to remove her brain tumor.
"We knew how important the violin is to Dagmar, so it was vital that we preserved function in the delicate areas of her brain that allowed her to play," Keyoumars Ashkan, a neurosurgeon at King's College Hospital, said in a press release.
As the post went viral, Twitterati have flooded the social media with their reactions.
A user wrote: "On the one hand, I fully support this and think it's amazing in every way. On the other hand, I must scream in horror and run away."
