Maddock Films head honcho Dinesh Vijan just confirmed his next untitled film, starring Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia in the lead roles, about a couple adopting parents.
It’s difficult at times to live with your parents and unbearable to live without them and what happens when a young couple adopts parents, that’s the concept of Dinesh Vijan’s next, a crazy comedy film rolls next month in Delhi.
The official handle of Maddock films just tweeted, “@RajkummarRao and @kritisanon adopt #DimpleKapadia and @SirPareshRawal as parents in our upcoming comedy.”
Dinesh Vijan’s yet-untitled situational comedy revolves around Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon, who are orphans and decides to adopt parents. They bring an older couple home and they almost end up destroying his life and marriage.
The film will mark the Hindi film debut of 28-year-old Gujarati director Abhishek Jain, who has assisted Ram Madhvani in ad campaigns, Subhash Ghai on Yuvraaj and Black and White and was associated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Chenab Gandhi and Guzaarish.
Meanwhile Rajkummar Rao is busy with “The White Tiger” opposite Priyanka Chopra, Roohi Afza opposite Janhvi Kapoor and Chhalaang with Nushrat Bharucha.
As for Kriti Sanon, she is currently shooting for Mimi, helmed by Laxman Utekar. The film is a remake National Award winning 2011 Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy!, the film also features Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak.
