When asked about the Bollywood in jeopardy from Hollywood, Tollywood and Ott Platform, on this Sonu said, “I don’t agree with this, because I started my career with south films. Now also I am doing south films. Whether I do Bollywood or Tollywood films, language doesn’t matter for me. Or it may be Hollywood films. Entertainment doesn’t have any language. And I don’t think there is any jeopardy to Bollywood with these. In fact, on Hindi channel, most of the South movies are dubbed in Hindi and are run. Talking about OTT platform, it’s a very good leap for the makers to showcase untold stories. And budget wise also it has become easier for them. Hence, I just want to say that, for the makers, actors and technician, the only motive is to entertain. It may be Bollywood, Tollywood or OTT platform.
Talking about the house interiors of the actor he likes, Sonu said, “I feel Shahrukh Khan’s house is pretty cool. The interiors are very nicely worked out. Gauri being an interior person, she travels a lot and is very precise about the detailing’s in interiors. And I must say she has done a remarkable job for her house.”
Meanwhile on the work front, Sonu Sood will be seen in crime drama film ‘Mumbai Saga’, directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by T-Series. It is a gangster drama and stars an ensemble cast of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Roy, Amole Gupte, Samir Soni, Gulshan Grover and Sharman Joshi. It is slated to release on 19 June 2020.
