Thespian Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media profile and paid his last respect to veteran make-up artist Pandhari Juker, who passed away.
Bollywood is driven by glitter and glamour, and the man who was making the actors a lot more beautiful and that too for 60 years, Pandhari Juker, has passed away at the age of 88.
The make-up artist had dedicated 6 decades to the film Industry and has worked with bigwigs like Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and more. He was even awarded the Shantaram Jeevan Gaurav for his work.
Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media profile and wrote, “Pandhari Juker, passes away, prayers, condolences...pioneer, iconic makeup Artist, of Film Industry...trained all the prominent makeup artists of today...brilliant, professional and a most endearing personality...my very first make up was done by him”
“Pandhari Juker...no more...the Master, the Icon, the Ultimate makeup artist...passes away...He touched hundreds of faces and enhanced them...but it was the hundreds of hearts that he touched that endeared us to him...Prayers”
Bachchan revealed his very first make-up was done by him, which only shows the legacy of the artist and the amount of work he has done for Hindi Cinema.
Meanwhile on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy with back to back projects, such as Gulabo Sitabo, Jhund, Chehre, Brahmastra, Uyarndha Manithan and AB Aani CD.
