Madhuri Dixit Nene who is a mother of two teenage kids, says that parents shouldn’t pressurize kids and learn to acknowledge their talent.

Madhuri Dixit Nene was interacting with media on the sidelines of Guns of Bananra trailer launch. The movie marks the comeback for Karann Nath, son of producer and star secretary Rikku Rakeshnath.

When asked about Board Exam around the corner and parents putting unwanted pressure on kids, Madhuri Dixit said, “My kid’s board exams are around the corner as well. My advice would be, don’t give too much tension to your kids, and teach them with love. Kids should be taught how to learn, teach them how to learn and enjoy it. Just relax and don’t pressurize kids too much. Talk to your kids, everyone has different talent and you must recognize that talent.”

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Madhuri Dixit Nene said that her husband is the reason for her smile.

Talking about the plans for Valentine’s Day, Madhuri said, “He is very romantic; the happiness you see of my face is because of him. For us every day is a Valentine’s Day. We don’t wait for one particular day, every day we’re doing things for each other. But yes ofcourse, this day is being celebrated with people giving out cards and roses; it’s just a day to celebrate love, and any kind of love.”

Madhuri Dixit was last seen in Abhishek Varman's period drama Kalank, featuring an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Set in the 1940s prior to the partition of India, the film featured her as Bahaar Begum, the madam of a brothel. The film didn’t perform well at the box office, however, Madhuri gained her another nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
