Vijay Deverakonda's latest love drama World Famous Lover has hit the theaters and the initial reports from early premier shows say an average movie. The Twitterati feel the movie has a passable first half but the second half is a huge letdown. The movie can be watched for the main cast's theatrics.
The first half of the movie revolves around a failed writer who goes on writing a story after a heartbreak.
The story of Yamini (Raashi Khanna) and Gautham (Vijay Deverakonda) and their strained relationship strikes a chord with. The imaginary story of Seenayya and his wife Suvarna (Aishwarya Rajesh) and boss (Catherine Tresa) written by Gautham has nothing new to offer.
The novel concept of lead role writing and narrating different stories is not executed well on the screen.
The second half movie to Paris episode that deals with the story of a Radio station owner again written by Gautham did not pan out well. Izabelle Leite as an air hostess is passable. The whole second half is too flat and dragged.
The movie has a decent story point but a weak direction and slow narration pull it down.
