Rating: **1/2

Overview - Gauthamante Radham, from its trailer itself everyone realizes what's this film is going to tell. The film is Neeraj Madhav's rebound to Malayalam's big screen after a major accomplishment of his binge-series "The Family Man". This current film's story centers around a middle-class family and their passionate sides with the appearance of a vehicle. The film Gives out the message without yelling for all to hear, an awesome measure of humor in the first half and some extremely noteworthy supporting cast exhibitions.

Story - The film presents Gauthaman as a child and gradually moves to his childhood. Ramachandran (Ranji Panicker), a postmaster who adores riding just bicycle, purchases a car for his son Gauthaman ( Neeraj Madhav). In any case, he doesn't have the budgetary ability to buy the car that Gauthaman wants. Along these lines, he at last purchases a Nano car for Gauthaman without telling the last mentioned. The family even names the vehicle 'Nanappan'. While 'Nanappan' is beyond a reasonable doubt adored by everybody in the family, Gauthaman disdains it. The movie wonderfully describes how his contempt for 'Nanappan' goes to love and warmth.

Analysis - Gauthamante Radham never settles in the zone where you can succumb to the delightful subject they're attempting to feature, it takes you at the top with all silly buffoonery however once you reach there, the effect isn't as compelling as you expect that it should be. The story is straightforward yet it simply doesn't get the fly it merited. It had the potential, had the thought with the sponsorship of a decent star cast that should be talked. The first half is simply loaded up with splendid dialogues by emerging in extremely interesting circumstances. It is the second half where things begin to wane a piece.

Star Performances - We've seen many astounding exhibitions of Neeraj Madhav however this is likewise not the most noticeably terrible. It just stands someplace in the middle. Ranji Panicker, Devi Ajith, Valsala Menon, Basil Joseph, and Biju Sopanam did equity to their jobs.

Direction, Music, Editing - Anand C Menon without a doubt is by all accounts a promising director when given a solid content. He handles the screenplay well overall yet the story just misses the mark from being an effective one. He catches the substance of the content well indeed yet that is sufficiently not here. He has considered this movie with the flawlessness and development that is past his age. Cinematographer Vishnu Sharma, music director Ankit Menon and editor Appu Bhattathiri have done conventional jobs.

Overall - Gowthamante Radham is engaging as a film yet neglects to satisfy the enormous guarantees made by the promotions. You can go for a couple of good chuckles, simply don't keep your desires high.
