Overview - Prashobh Vijayan's past film Lilly is one of my preferred movies a year ago due to his style of making. The film was dark and loaded up with gore components. In his second film Anveshanam, he tries an investigation thriller, which is too with insignificant spending.

Story - Aravind (Jayasurya) is a creative director of Media Ten, a television channel, and Kavitha ( Sruthi) is his wife. Their family is living in an apartment, and they are cheerful. When their son Ashwin admits to a hospital in the wake of tumbling from stairs into a state of unconsciousness Sonny, an attendant subtly illuminates the police that the kid is in an awful physical condition because of misuse. A cop named Alphonse and an unrivaled named Lata land at the spot to explore the episode.

Analysis - Anveshanam's title introduction is totally different. The title scene presents the family inside an aquarium in the corridor of Aravindan's home. It shows the delight and common love of the family. Afterward, the aquarium itself turns into a significant piece of the film. The account tells in a non-linear style and uses a little Roshamon style of narrating. The film's story created well with great defining moments. The true to life freedoms that the creators have taken are unmistakably swarm satisfying and in the lieu to pack this film as an engaging watch. What they stray away from, is making this film a delicious newspapers issue which would've effectively been the situation considering the story's fundamental components including maltreatment and it's examination. Towards the end, the plot flounders gigantically.

Star Performances - Going to the exhibitions, it isn't something new for Jayasurya to play a family man, however, he shows a decent variety with his presentation and feelings. His inconspicuous yet savage activities are the quintessence of the film, and it conveys to the correct extent. He does 100 percent equity to his character. Too much alleviation, Sruthi Ramachandran finds a good pace develop character, a near reality spouse who doesn't sound idiotic or hyper. The supporting actors Vijay Babu, Lena and Nandhu have contributed decent enough to the film. The unexpected casting is Leona Lishoy's police official character. She conveys an extraordinary presentation as an official who is pregnant.

Direction, Cinematography, Music - Despite that he makes a decent family thriller, Prashobh Vijayan's direction leaves a couple of holes to fill. He does well with the story, figuring out how to get it far from the western style smooth ones and keeping this considerably more grounded. I am certain that he will go with additionally exciting story next time. Sujith Vaasudev's camera is acceptable, as he disposes of very well with dull lighting particularly inside the hospital scenes. Jakes Bejoy's music is anything but an incredible one. His BGM doesn't underpin the progress of the film.

Overall - Anveshanam is a decent deep routed emotional thriller movie. Director Prashobh Vijayan keeps things lively, Yet, the material challenges' levity simultaneously it never accomplishes genuine gravity.
