The trailer of Jaanu was released today and it is largely faithful to the original film, 96. The narrative is close to the Tamil version and so was the music.
Usually, these kind of subjects are not best suited for Telugu audience, but the star power of Samantha, who has been in fine form lately might prove to be the deciding factor for Jaanu. Adding to that, Sharwanand has carved a named for himself amongst A center audience and that will help the cause here.
It remains to be seen if Jaanu will keep all sections of the audience hooked and enter the safe zone. For that to happen, Jaanu will have to impress multiplex audience and B, C center audience alike. This is the biggest challenge for the film. It
