Mission Mangal director Jagan Shetty diagnosed with a blood clot is now responding well.
Director Jagan Shetty who was admitted to a city hospital for treatment on 25 January has been diagnosed with a clot in his brain and was said to be critical. But Balki who had co-produced ‘Mission Mangal’ shared that Jagan is responding well to the treatment is out of danger now.
The filmmaker was reportedly socializing with friends when he collapsed and was rushed to a hospital. His family immediately rushed to Mumbai to be with him.
On the work front, Jagan has assisted R Balki on several films before marking his directorial debut last year with ‘Mission Mangal’.
The film earned a lot of praise for August 2019 release, which featured an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi.
The film narrated the story of India’s Mars Orbiter Mission and focused on the team which worked on the assignment.
As per the reports it was also stated that Jagan Shakti was in talks with Akshay Kumar for a film titled 'Ikka' which was said to be a remake of 2014 Tamil blockbuster 'Kaththi'.
