1500 Crore In Box-Office Collection, Sonakshi Sinha Is Unstoppable Force

With over 1500 crore in Box Office collections, scintillating performance across genres, Sonakshi Sinha is a force to reckon with and here’s the reason why.

Sonakshi Sinha is one actress that has managed to make a solid mark in the last decade. She made a smashing debut with Dabangg in 2010, and she received a lot of appreciation for her portrayal of Rajjo. The film was a superhit at box office, and Sonakshi reprised her role in the next two instalments of the film as well. After the success of Dabangg, she was seen in films like Rowdy Rathore, Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and Son of Sardaar. All of these also collected great business at the ticket window

However, a major turning point in Sonakshi Sinha’s career was with Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera, a film where the actor proved that she could nail any role with finesse. With Lootera she became the darling of the critics. Even after seven years, the film is recalled as one of the most poignant Bollywood films.

In the past ten years, Sonakshi Sinha’s films have done a business of over 1500 crores. Amongst all other female actors today, who have crossed that landmark at the Box Office, Sonakshi is the only one who has done female-led films, and has excelled across genres, including a solo actioner.  In 2019 itself, Sonakshi was seen in four films, all played varied characters like Eka Gandhi in Mission Mangal to Rajjo Pandey in Dabanng 3.

Sonakshi Sinha will be seen next in Bhuj: The Pride of India, a biographical war actioner based on 1971 war.
