Bhajan Singer and Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Anup Jalota makes a bold claim, says he played the game and never watched the show, not even his own episodes.
When asked about his views about the show Bigg Boss 13, on this Anup said, “I was never interested in watching the show. Even as a contestant I didn’t watched any of my episodes. I just played the show. About the existing show ‘Bigg Boss 13’, I don’t know anything. I am not at all aware about the contestants in the show. I don’t know their names, nor I recognize them. I don’t know who will be evicted and who will be the winner. As per the reports, I just know, that the contestants are too violent on the show. They are not only wrangling with each other, but are also giving bad words. I think they should behave sophistically and not quarrel. Because after all it’s a family show.”
On reacting Salman Khan washed the vessels in the show Bigg Boss 13, Anup laughingly said, “Sounds good! I think he must be washing at his home also.”
On the personal front, Singer and musician Anup Jalota best known for his performances in the Hindu devotional music. The singer is married for thrice. Jalota's first marriage was to singer Sonali Seth an ethnic Gujrati girl. The couple became popular in the North Indian live performance circuit as "Anup and Sonali Jalota," which was eventually disbanded after their divorce. His second marriage was an arranged one to Bina Bhatia which soon ended in divorce. Anup's third marriage was to Medha Gujral, niece of former Indian Prime Minister I.K.Gujral and director Shekhar Kapur's first wife, whom he divorced in 1994.
It came to light in 2018 that he had been in a relationship with 'Bigg Boss 12' contestant Jasleen Matharu, who is thirty-seven years younger than him. But, during the premiere episode, the bhajan maestro introduced Jasleen as his student and nothing more than that.
On the work front, after faking their love on Bigg Boss 12, Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu together will be seen in a movie ‘Woh Meri Student Hai’. The film is written, directed and produced by Jasleen’s father, Mr. Kesar Matharu. It is scheduled to release in August 2020.
