Feel dejected, bit by bit nature is transforming into concrete, says Waheeda Rehman.

Legendary actress Waheeda Rehman who is a nature lover and also deep passionate about photography, says that she feels dejected about the nature bit by bit is getting transformed into concrete. She further expressed that if such is the condition of our country, the coming generation will never know the depth of nature.

Waheeda Rehman was seen interacting with the media at the inauguration of art exhibition ‘Chronological Clouds’ at Jehangir Art Gallery.  

The paintings by Raj Bharti was inspired by the beauty and harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature.
When asked about her views on the amazing paintings showcased in the exhibition, on this Waheeda said, “The paintings by the artist (Raj Bharti) are very nice and unique. Through his paintings he has explained the varnishing of human and nature relationship. Nowadays, it is very important to create awareness about our mother nature. Because, due to the continuous development, bit by bit nature is transforming into concrete. I feel dejected about this, because if such is the condition of our country, the coming generation will never know the depth of nature.”

Talking about her passion about photography, Waheeda said, “Photography is totally a different medium as compared to paintings. The lifespan of painting is more elongated than photography. Paintings do have resale value more than photographs. I am not denying the fact, there are photographers who have clicked very classy pictures. Photography is about capturing a particular moment. But painting is something, the artist thinks and re-create his own creativity. I feel painting is more tough than photography.”

Waheeda Rehman made her debut in the world of photography at the exhibition, Meraki, alongside Urvi Piramal, Roopkumar Rathod, Archana Mariwala and 20 other talented artists.
