My character in the movie is about celebrating bachelorship- Saif Ali Khan.

For actor Saif Ali khan year 2020 seems to be a perfect start. His recently released movie Tanhaji : The Unsung Warrior is doing phenomenally well at box office and now it’s ‘Jawani Janeman’ to hit the theatres. The actor in the movie is portraying the role of a bachelor. As a bachelor he loves and believes his lifestyle, but is scared of his family. The movie also revolves around the father and daughter relationship. Saif Ali Khan as a 40-year-old father and debutant Alaya Furniturewala as his daughter.

Describing his role, the actor said, “After marriage in real life the vibes of a man changes. He becomes more responsible towards his wife and kids. My character in the movie is about a bachelor, who loves to celebrate his bachelorship and it’s his sweetheart. As a bachelor he loves and believes his lifestyle, but is scared of his family. This story is about acceptance, a man accepting his age, his responsibility and his journey in life. To play one of the crucial roles, is of a father. I think in real life father is one of the most important person of our life.”

‘Jawani Janeman’ is a drama film, directed by Nitin Kakkar starring Saif Ali Khan and Alaya Furniturewala and Tabu. The film is set to release on January 31 2020.
