Summary - Based on the real episode of 2005, when a spurned suitor tossed acid on the face of 15-year old Laxmi Agarwal, scarring her forever, 'Chhapaak' is a delighting story of the triumph of the human soul. Deepika Padukone who plays the 19-year-old Malti Agarwal, a joyful girl with an aspiration of turning a singing artist, truly gets under the skin of her character. As a young woman from a lower white-collar class family, who thinks ambitiously, she is easily ready to grandstand the flush of first love just as the stun and ghastliness after observing her scarred reflection without precedent for the mirror.
What's About - The film starts with the 2012 Nirbhaya assault case and how everybody in Delhi is battling for equity yet nobody is thinking much about acid assault survivors and their battle. You get acquainted with Malti (Deepika Padukone) who is attempting her level best to carry equity to each acid assault unfortunate casualty in the province. Next up, she meets Amol who not just extends to her an employment opportunity at his NGO yet also causes her at each phase of her unsavory life. The story follows two parallel courses of events that continue hopping between Malti's present and her terrible past. Fifteen minutes into the film and you get the chance to see a look at the upsetting acid assault episode on Malti.
