Addressing the public at Ala Vaikunthapurramloo musical night today, Allu Arjun said he wished to do a simple and breezy entertainer after acting in serious films like Sarrainodu, Naa Peru Surya, DJ, and that is one of the reasons why he took a lengthy layoff from movies.
"Trivikram came with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's subject while I was willing to do a breezy film and I accepted it. That's how this film started.", Allu Arjun said.
Bunny further added that Trivikram is one of his favorite directors and the duo had worked together thrice for the same reason.
