Starting her journey with Nil Battey Sannata, filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has gone from strength to strength. Her last outing Bareilly Ki Barfi, not only created box-office miracle but set a landmark for heartland stories in film industry.
Ashwiny Iyer is gearing up with her next heart-warming and slice of life sports drama, Panga, starring Kangana Ranaut. The filmmaker recently dropped the trailer of the film which went viral.
Now as the year is coming to an end, Ashwiny pens a heartfelt note for her loved ones, cinema lovers and her upcoming release Panga.

Rooted in the subculture of societal facts Panga is an emotional roller coaster tale of a middle-class Indian woman; A forgotten kabaddi world champion who catalyzes an inner desire to give a new meaning to her existing role as a wife and mother and takes an ingenious decision to come back to the sport despite the challenges of age stereotypes and a new generation complexities which creates an upheaval in her life as she is torn between family responsibility and love for the sport.
The film is produced by Fox Star Studios, also featuring Jassi Gill, Richa Chadda, Neena Gupta and Yogya Bhasin. The film is set to theatrically release in India on 24 January 2020.
