Actress Urvashi Rautela who was last seen in the movie 'Pagalpanti', says that executing of more such stories like 'Chhappak' is a must, because it advocates women empowerment and teaches a woman to live her life on her own terms, even in a dreadful condition.
Urvashi Rautela was interacting with media on Tuesday in Mumbai.
Chhapaak' is a true-life story based on acid attack survival Laxmi Agarwal. A minor then, Laxmi was attacked with acid by three men near Tughlaq road in New Delhi as she had refused to marry Nadeem Khan aka Guddu, of the trio.
When asked to comment on the recently released trailer of the movie 'Chhappak', Urvashi said, "I have seen the poster of 'Chhappak' and it's mind blowing. The film advocates women empowerment and I think execution of more such stories is a must, because we all know the terrible fact behind the story and her (Laxmi Agarwal, acid victim) fight for justice.
Actress Urvashi Rautela was first time seen doing stand up comedy in the show 'Comics For Change', a satire based on good health, yoga and fitness.
