Director Mahesh Bhatt is returning to direction with Sadak 2, and now announces his collaboration with Jio Studio and his home production Vishesh Films, for a web-series exploring the dynamic of a relationship between a filmmaker and actress.
Mahesh Bhatt just took to his social media profile and dropped the confirmation on the collaboration. He tweeted, “A perfect beginning. Happy partnering with @jiostudios on our digital debut! A dramatic webseries based in 70s Bollywood exploring the relationship of a struggling filmmaker & a top actress of that era! The greatest location in the world is the human heart. @VisheshFilms @JioCinema”
The web-series will be a joint collaboration between Vishesh Films and Jio Studios. Other details about the projects are still undisclosed, but the series will explore the relationship between a struggling filmmaker and top actress, and it will be set in 1970’s ear.
The official handle of Jio Studios also confirmed the same. It said, “Delighted to announce our collaboration with master storytellers @VisheshFilms for web series based on a dramatic love story set in 70s Bollywood that explores the highs & lows of the relationship between a married struggling film maker & a top actress of that time @MaheshNBhatt”
Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhatt will soon be releasing the sequel of super hit musical drama Sadak, starring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
