I learnt a lot from Salman Khan says Saiee Manjrekar

Actress Saiee Manjrekar, who is paired opposite Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg 3’, has said that she learnt a lot about acting from 53 year superstar during shooting of her upcoming film.

Saiee Manjrekar was interacting with the media to promote ‘Dabangg 3’ on Tuesday in Mumbai.

 Sharing her experience working with Salman Khan in the film, Saiee said, “It was really nice experience working with him. He is really a nice human being. He makes you feel special and he makes you feel comfortable while working so, I am really thankful to him.  I got to learn a lot of things from him. I used to home with a new lesson while we were shooting for the film.”

Talking about her character in the film, Saiee said, “I am playing character of Khushi in the film. She is very innocent, loving and simple girl. She is the first love of Chulbul Pandey which is being played by Salman sir. I feel audience will be able to see a lot about my character in the film.”

When asked Saiee what kind of preparations she did to play her role in the film, she said, “If you see in the trailer, Khushi belongs to a village and I am born and brought up in Mumbai so, I had to work on that aspect. I had to learn accent, mannerism and body-language of a village girl. I feel I am very similar to Khushi in real life so, I naturally got into that character. In childhood, I used to travel with my father in villages for shooting of his films so, that also helped to prepare for my character."

When asked Saiee how she got the opportunity to work in ‘Dabangg 3’, she said,  “I think the innocence which was needed for Khushi’s character, Salman sir found in me and because of that he considered me for the role. He called me and told me that ‘We are considering you for this role so, start working on your acting and dancing skills. We will do a screen test of yours and if your are good then, we will take you in the film’. And now, I am here talking about the film.”

‘Dabangg 3’ is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on 20 December 2019.
