Actress Bhumi Pednekar had an incredible run at the box-office in 2019, with movies like Pati, Patni Aur Who, Bala and Saand Ki Aankh, the actress has now bagged Critic Awards for her role in Saand Ki Aankh.
Saand Ki Aankh, a biographical drama based on lives of real-life sharp shooters – Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, saw Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles.
Bhumi Pednekar took to her social media profile and shared her excitement about winning the award. She wrote, “Thank you star screen and the jury for this honour. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar. The film also features Prakash Jha, Pawan Chopra, Vineet Kumar Singh and Shaad Randhawa in the supporting roles.
Producer Nidhi Parmar also expressed her excitement about the award win. She wrote, “This has made me soooooo happy! Congratulations on the well deserved win @bhumipednekar and @taapsee!! #SaandKiAankh #TusharHiranandani #starscreenawards2019”

Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Telefilms. The film also features Konkona Sen Sharma, Vikrant Massey and Amol Parashar. The film premiered at the 24th Busan International Film Festival under the section 'A Window on Asian Cinema' on 4 October 2019.
